Built from two decades of sourcing, calibration and quality development across the global coffee supply chain.
Cupping Collective has been developed through long-term work across sourcing, calibration, logistics, quality development and origin relationships.
Founder Will Corby has worked in specialty coffee for more than 20 years across producing countries, importing, roasting and quality systems.
Experience includes:
- UK Barista Championships competitor (2008–2012)
- Cup of Excellence judge (El Salvador and Guatemala)
- Head Judge of the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros Land of Diversity competition in Colombia
- Development work supporting quality competitions in Colombia and the Democratic Republic of Congo
- Director of Coffee & Social Impact at Pact Coffee since 2014
- Development of direct trade sourcing, quality improvement and producer value development systems across 15+ origins
- Experience spanning origin sourcing, roasting, sensory evaluation and market-facing quality systems
A major focus throughout this work has been the identification of coffees with unrecognised market value and improving alignment between producers, quality and market demand.
Cupping Collective was built from the belief that better calibration creates better value alignment across the coffee industry.
